ECBL: Wilson Christian defeats Wayne

WILSON -- Wayne collected seven hits in an 11-4 loss to Eastern Carolina Baseball League rival Wilson Christian on Monday evening.
Hunter Burt, Parker Strickland (RBI), Matt Swets (RBI), Tyler Wallace, Mason White, Holden Foster and Austin Howell each registered in the hit column.
Tanner Rose and John Strickland each drove in a run.
Foster endured the mound loss. Strickland and Mason Bland combined for three innings of four-strikeout relief.
Wayne (2-9 overall) travels to Charles B. Aycock White tonight. First pitch is 6 p.m. at Charles Davis Field.
