Late-afternoon rain storms washed out two Eastern Carolina Baseball League games and forced the suspension of two other contests on Monday.
Wayne and North Lenoir completed one inning before the storm arrived. Southern Wayne and Greene Central were knotted at 2-all after two innings when inclement weather sent both teams home.
A make-up has not been announced for Wayne-North Lenoir.
Southern Wayne and Greene Central will conclude their suspended game July 1 in Dudley.
The Wilson Christian-Aycock White and Eastern Wayne-Rosewood games were complete washouts. Aycock White coach Nelson Cunningham said his team will play host to Wilson Christian at 6 p.m. Friday. No decision was made on an EW-Rosewood make-up date.
