Princeton rolls past Spring Creek, 7-1, in soccer

PRINCETON -- Carolina 1-A Conference leader Princeton rolled past Spring Creek 7-1 on Tuesday night.
Kassandra Velasquez scored twice for the Bulldogs. Jessica Brush, Elizabeth Cole, Amber Hill and Lauren Woodard each provided a goal. Savannah Pierce supplied two assists.
Peyton Whitley and Velasquez each handed out an assist.
Nashmy Jiminez tallied the Gators' lone goal on an assist from Grecia Aguirre.
Princeton (12-4-1 overall, 5-0 CC) travels to Rosewood today, while Spring Creek (1-12-3, 1-4) entertains Goldsboro.
