Princeton duo combines for shutout in pitcher's circle

PRINCETON -- Princeton's Tori Paul and Haley Wood combined for the shutout inside the pitcher's circle during a 3-0 conquest of Carolina 1-A Conference foe Ayden-Grifton on Tuesday evening.
Paul started and fanned three Ayden-Grifton batters in three innings. Wood logged four strikeouts in four innings of relief. The Chargers managed seven hits.
Kelsey Peedin led the Dogs with two hits.
