* Baseball: C.B. Aycock 10, Southern Wayne 5 (9 inn.) -- Trent Herndon led the Golden Falcons with four hits and three RBI. Braxton Leeper (RBI), Lloyd Lowe (RBI) and Charlie Robertson each supplied two hits. Bryce Anders (RBI), Cameron Kornegay (RBI) and Brandon Palmer all added a hit. Kyle Davis had two RBI. Anders recorded the win on the mound with 3 1/3 innings of one-run relief.
* Baseball: Wayne Country Day 12, Oakwood 3 -- The Chargers' Jacob Magera finished with three hits and four RBI. Mitch Turnage and Parker Smith both contributed a hit and an RBI. Zach Barfield added a hit.
