Warriors tie for 2nd in ECC 3A girls soccer

La GRANGE -- Eastern Wayne earned a share of second-place in the Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference with a 5-0 win on Thursday evening at North Lenoir.
The Warriors and rival Charles B. Aycock finished the regular-season tied for second-place in the ECC. Ann Reed Hulse scored twice for Eastern Wayne. Megan Mozingo, Kristina Musses and Grace Delbridge also scored for the Warriors. Eastern Wayne attempted 17 corner kicks.
Both teams begin play in the ECC tournament next week.
