Bulldogs' Johnson tosses no-hitter

Kasey Johnson threw a three-inning no-hitter as league-leading Princeton handed Goldsboro a 17-0 loss in Carolina 1-A Conference play Thursday evening.
Johnson recorded seven strikeouts.
Johnson and Danielle Best led the Bulldogs' offense with two hits apiece. Julia Coats provided a game-high three RBI. Emily Woodward and Best each knocked in two runs.
Brandy Johnson pitched for the Cougars.
