Greene Central shuts out SW Edgecombe

SNOW HILL -- Greene Central maintained its hold on second place in the Eastern Plains 2-A Conference with a 10-0, six-inning win over SouthWest Edgecombe on Tuesday night.
Kevin Ormond and Mason Head both finished with two hits and an RBI. James Head added a hit and two RBI. Benn Brann pitched a complete-game shutout and scattered four hits while striking out nine and walking two.
The Rams (10-7 overall, 8-2 EPC) visit Eastern Wayne today.
