Errors, walks spell trouble for Wayne Christian

BURLINGTON -- Wayne Christian left 11 runners on base and dropped a 9-6, non-conference decision against Burlington Christian at Springwood Park on Monday afternoon.
Victoria Combs surrendered just two hits and logged 10 strikeouts inside the pitcher's circle. Burlington Christian, however, capitalized on nine walks and defensive miscues that led to eight unearned runs.
Wayne Christian concluded regular-season play 5-3 overall.
