Ayden-Grifton turns back Rosewood

AYDEN -- Rosewood's seventh-inning rally came up short in an 8-7 loss to Carolina 1-A Conference foe Ayden-Grifton on Friday evening.
Jordan Lynn led the Eagles with three hits. Bryce McKeel, Reed Howell and Jordan Gurley each had two hits in the defeat.
Gurley suffered the loss on the pitcher's mound despite logging six strikeouts over 42/3 innings.
Rosewood (5-12 overall, 4-2 CC) entertains Goldsboro on Tuesday night.
