FOUR OAKS -- Southern Wayne mustered just three hits in a 2-0 loss at Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference leader South Johnston on Tuesday evening.
Kevin Williams, Clayton Cashwell and Thomas Kelly each had a hit for the Saints.
Jacob Sasser surrendered two runs with 12 strikeouts and four walks in six innings of work.
Southern Wayne (5-3 overall, 2-2 ECC) entertains Rocky Mount today.
