Wayne Country Day scratches in win column

ZEBULON -- Wayne Country Day built a 5-0 lead after two innings on its way to a 12-0, five-inning win at East Wake Academy on Tuesday.
Cody Neal led the Chargers with two hits and three RBI. Jacob Parks supplied two hits and two RBI. John Strickland had a hit and three RBI. Neal, Thomas Kierski and Mitch Turnage combined for the two-hit shutout on the mound.
Wayne Country Day (1-3 overall) entertains Lawrence Academy on Thursday.
