North Duplin blanks Goldsboro in Carolina 1-A play

Thomas Vick recorded Goldsboro's lone hit in a 14-0, five-inning loss to North Duplin on Tuesday. It was the Carolina 1-A Conference opener for both teams.
The Rebels (7-1 overall, 1-0 CC) travel to Princeton on Thursday.
Goldsboro (0-8, 0-1) plays host to Rosewood on Friday.
