Best just misses double-double for WCDS girls

FAYETTEVILLE -- Wayne Country Day picked up a 57-47 win on Tuesday evening at Coastal Plains Independent 1-A foe Freedom Christian.
Sarah Best finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Chargers. Hannah Pearson supplied 14 points and seven rebounds. Bailee Creger had 12 points and Karis Hawkins added eight.
Wayne Country Day (6-10 overall, 4-3 CPIC) visits Oakwood on Friday.
