FAYETTEVILLE -- Lee Atkinson poured in 30 points but it wasn't enough as Wayne Country Day fell 96-81 on Tuesday night at Coastal Plains Independent 1-A foe Freedom Christian.
Deshar Thomas finished with 18 points for the Chargers and Joel Davis had 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Wayne Country Day (13-6 overall) travels to Oakwood on Friday.
