Defending state champs defeat WCDS girls

FAYETTEVILLE -- Defending state champion Trinity Christian of Fayetteville turned back Wayne Country Day 50-31 on Tuesday evening.
Hannah Pearson paced the Chargers with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Sarah Best supplied 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Bailee Creeger had eight points and nine rebounds.
Wayne Country Day (2-4 overall) plays host to Fayetteville Christian on Friday.
