Wayne County swimmers ruled the pool Tuesday evening.

And the usual suspects continued their season-long domination in a multi-team meet contested at B.G. Darden Natatorium inside the Goldsboro Family Y.

Charles B. Aycock's foursome of Taylor Bradshaw, Kylie Robertson, Savannah Sauls and Alexus Lemasters started the night with a first-place effort in the 200-yard medley relay. Lemasters turned in a 32.22-second split on the anchor leg, which capped the Golden Falcons' overall time of 2 minutes, 17.61 seconds.

The quartet also won the 200 freestyle relay in 2:00.13.

A preseason candidate for Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference female swimmer-of-the-year, Sauls claimed first in the 200 individual medley (2:31.42) and 100 backstroke (1:09.49).

Robertson emerged victorious in the 100 breaststroke, while Bradshaw claimed second in the 500 free.

Eastern Wayne's Tricia Malcolm, a returning ECC champion, sprinted to a first-place time of 28.55 seconds in the 50 free. She placed second in the 100 free (1:04.17) and swam the anchor leg on the Warriors' meet-winning 400 free relay team. Joining Malcolm on the relay were Lilly Boyette, Kaitlin Tallarida and Sydney Schmeltzer.

Goldsboro's Kaylee Lyon and Heather Wurtele grabbed second and fifth, respectively, in the 100 butterfly. Teammate Olivia Paul was third in the 200 free.

On the boys' side, three competitors -- Chad Davis, Logan Cole and Zach Darden -- once again proved unstoppable.

Davis, the reigning ECC male swimmer-of-the-year, collected first-place finishes in the 200 IM (2:20.15) and 100 free (51.29). Cole captured first in the 50 free (22.87) and 500 free (5:08.33). Darden won the 100 backstroke in 1:00.16 and 200 free in 1:59.13.

Cole and Darden swam legs on the Cougars' 400 free relay, which took first place overall in 3:58.3. They were joined by Vincent Spagnuolo and Christian Martens. Teammate Victor Prezbindowski claimed second in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.20).

Davis handled anchor-leg duties for the Saints, who ended up third in the 400 free. He was joined by Austin Edgecombe, Myles Davis and Andrew Medlin. Edgecombe also took runner-up honors in the 500 free.

The Golden Falcons' quartet of Chaz Hooks, Travis Thaxton, Devin Hall and Sam Chastain claimed runner-up honors in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:50.56. The same group took second in the 200 medley relay.

Hall won the 1-meter diving competition with 141.60 points, while Chastain was third in the 500 free.

Rosewood's foursome of Kodey Silknitter, Evan Daniels, Garner Beasley and Christian Scheu recorded a third-place time of 1:55.33 in the 200 free relay. Silknitter recorded top-four times in the 200 free (2:07.90) and 50 free (26.78).

Eastern Wayne swam to a second-place time in the 400 free relay and secured fifth place in the 200 medley relay.
