* Boys' basketball: C.B. Aycock 63, North Lenoir 54 -- T.J. Morrow finished with 20 points for the Golden Falcons. Jamere Pryor added 18 points and Jimmy Ellis supplied 11 points. Aycock (6-3 overall, 1-0 ECC) travels to Greene Central tonight.
* Boys' basketball: Wayne Country Day 58, Trinity-Fayetteville 39 -- Tyrique McClain scored 15 points for the Chargers and Cory Carpenter added 14. Jason Jones had nine points. Wayne Country Day (4-1 overall) visits Harrells Christian on Jan. 5, 2013.
