AYDEN -- Goldsboro concluded its regular season with a 25-22, 25-16, 23-25, 25-17 loss Thursday night at Carolina 1-A Conference foe Ayden-Grifton.
Brandy Johnson led the Cougars with 10 kills, five aces and four blocks.
Goldsboro (2-17, 0-10 CC) begins conference tournament play Monday at Ayden-Grifton.
