WCDS extends Freedom Christian to 4 sets

Freedom Christian defeated Wayne Country Day 25-11, 25-22, 26-28, 25-20 in a Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference match Tuesday evening.
Rachel Uzzell paced the Chargers with 16 assists. Sarah Crooks finished with 11 digs. Jessica Zhou added nine digs and five kills. Hannah Pearson had nine digs, nine kills, four aces and three blocks.
Wayne Country Day (8-8 overall, 1-6 CPIC) plays host to Pope John Paul on Oct. 11.
