Greenfield stops Wayne Country Day in tennis

WILSON -- Wayne Country Day came up short in a 6-3 loss on Tuesday at Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference opponent Greenfield.
Gianna Democko and Sarah Best each collected a singles victory for the Chargers. The team of Democko-Margaux Pope was victorious at No. 1 doubles.
Wayne Country Day (7-2 overall) entertains Trinity of Raleigh on Thursday at Wayne Community College.
