Golden Falcons take two from South Johnston

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock earned a pair of 9-0 victories over Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference foe South Johnston on Thursday.
The Golden Falcons and Trojans finished a match that began Aug. 28 and played their regularly-scheduled match.
Ashton Walker, Katie Gurley, Rachel Jackson, Kimber Pender and Cassidy Coerver each recorded two singles victories. Casie Belom and Payton Anders also provided a win in singles play.
The doubles teams of Walker-Gurley, Jackson-Pender and Belom-Coerver and Belom-Anders were also victorious.
Aycock (11-4 overall, 7-2 ECC) visits Cleveland on Monday.
