Trio scores in WCDS road win

FAYETTEVILLE -- Wayne Country Day erupted for four second-half goals in a 5-0 win at Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference foe Freedom Christian on Thursday.
Jacob Magera scored off Thomas Kierski's assist in the opening half. The Chargers benefited from a pair of own goals by Freedom in the second half. Miller Gerrard and Jonathon Stoner each added a goal.
Wayne Country Day entertains Pope John Paul today.
