PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock collected two doubles points and turned back perennial Class 1-A independent power Greenfield, 6-3, on Wednesday afternoon.
The No. 1 tandem of Ashton Walker-Katie Gurley steamrolled the Knights' Courtney Williams-Hannah Ferrell 8-1. The No. 2 duo of Rachel Jackson-Kimber Pender upended Blake Lantz and Ann Robertson 8-6.
Walker, Gurley, Jackson and Casie Belom each triumphed in singles.
"Today's match was a quality non-conference win against a talented and fundamentally-sound Greenfield team," CBA head coach Luke Vail said. "Rachel's win in the third-set tiebreak at number three singles was the turning point in the match. Casie is continuing to give us solid play at number five singles."
