Eastern Wayne hammers out 8-1 decision over Cleveland

League-leading Eastern Wayne rolled past Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference opponent Cleveland for an 8-1 tennis victory on Wednesday afternoon.
Faith Sutton, Blake Govan, McKenna Dove, Cameron Dove and Brittney Brinson each claimed a point during singles play for the Warriors.
The tandems of Savannah Sutton-Faith Sutton, McKenna Dove-Cameron Dove and Debbie Mitchell-Brinson each prevailed in doubles action.
Eastern Wayne (10-1 overall, 8-0 ECC) plays host to Southern Wayne next Tuesday.
