Prep JV football: Cougars ground Golden Falcons

Nashir Bowden threw for 128 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-point victory at Cougar Stadium. Eric Bufkin hauled in three TD receptions, while Taylin Davis caught the other score.
Davis added a rushing touchdown.
Jamal Gaddy returned a kickoff 69 yards for a TD. Matt Simmons returned a fumble recovery for a touchdown, also.
Bufkin emerged the defensive leader with six tackles and five assists. Malcolm Davis provided six tackles and one assist. Tyrese Parks and Josh Johnson each recorded four tackles. Johnson sacked the Aycock quarterback twice and blocked a punt.
The Cougars improved to 2-1 overall.
