Southern Wayne tennis defeats North Lenoir

La GRANGE -- Southern Wayne turned back Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference foe North Lenoir 5-2 on Thursday afternoon.
Taylor Davis, Mollieanne Kennedy, Hope Rose and Cierra Moody each recorded a singles victory for the Saints.
Davis-Kennedy also prevailed in doubles play.
Southern Wayne (4-4 overall, 2-2 ECC) plays host to reigning ECC champion Charles B. Aycock on Tuesday.
