Chargers slip past Rosewood, 2-1, in baseball

* LITTLEFIELD -- Rosewood launched its 2012 Carolina 1-A Conference campaign with a heart-breaking 2-1 loss at Ayden-Grifton on Friday evening.
Will Winslow paced the Eagles' offense with two hits. Will Lane, pinch-hitter Khalil Warren, Tyler Folk and Matt Shaw added one hit apiece.
John Winslow threw a complete game for Rosewood. He gave up two runs on four hits, walked five and struck out five.
Rosewood plays host to Goldsboro on Monday.
