Glass claims two individual victories for WCDS

Robert Glass emerged victorious in two individual events, and Wayne Country Day recorded five top-11 times in the girls' 100-yard freestyle during a swim meet Monday inside B.G. Darden Natatorium.
Glass touched the wall first in 27.72 seconds in the 50 free and posted mark a meet-winning mark of 1:04.70 in the 100 free. He also swam the opening leg on the Chargers' 200 free relay, which finished fourth in 2:29.46. He was joined by Ben Eisenhauer, Steffen Stoutamire and Will Bartlett.
Eisenhauer ended up sixth in the 100 backstroke in 1:30.50, while Stoutamire earned a ninth-place time of 35.31 seconds in the 50 free. Mike Chen and Bartlett also participated in the 50 free.
Kate Thompson led Wayne Country Day's charge with a fifth-place performance in the girls' 100 free (1:17.36). Bethany Stoutamire placed seventh in 1:18.32. Teammates Anna Rains, Katy Fletcher and Charlotte Yarboro touched wall ninth through 11th, respectively.
Jessica Eisenhauser, Rains, Thompson and Stoutamire battled in the 200 free relay and took third with a time of 2:23.01.
