County rivals suspended by weather

DUDLEY -- Lightning suspended the Junior Legion baseball contest between county rivals Charles B. Aycock and Wayne South on Tuesday evening.
Aycock led 4-1 through 41/2 innings when the umpires sent the teams to their respective dugouts.
The game will conclude at 3:30 p.m. today. Aycock also plays host to North Raleigh today, and then entertain defending state champion West Johnston on Thursday.
First pitch is 6 p.m. each day.
