MOUNT OLIVE -- The postseason accolades continue to pile up for Carter Capps, Michael Knox and Jacob Rogers.

The Mount Olive College trio has been named to the 2011 National College Baseball Writers Association Division II All-America baseball team.

Capps earned first-team nods and was named the NCBWA's pitcher-of-the-year. Knox also received first-team accolades, while Rogers picked up honorable mention votes. Knox becomes the first two-time All-American in Trojan baseball history since Steve Parrish earned similar recognition in 2003 and 2004.

The award is the second All-America selection for the trio.

All three were also chosen to the Daktronics Division II Baseball All-America team, which is selected by the nation's sports information directors. Capps garnered first-team honors and was the national pitcher-of-the-year. Knox was the second-team designated hitter and Rogers was the third-team third baseman.

The trio helped No. 2-ranked Mount Olive (46-9 overall) claim its 10th Conference Carolinas tournament championship and its second Southeast Regional title, which led to the Trojans' second appearance in the Division II College World Series.
