Tanner's goal salvages 3-3 draw for WCDS

Hil Tanner's goal in the 53rd minute helped Wayne Country Day battle to a 3-3 draw against Coastal Plains Independent 1-A newcomer Epiphany on Friday afternoon.
Bryce Creger opened the Chargers' scoring with a goal off Tyson Pearson's assist in the 15th minute. Tanner provided a goal in the 30th minute off another Pearson assist.
Wayne Country Day (9-6-1 overall, 2-1-1 CPIC) travels to state-ranked Ahoskie Ridgecroft on Tuesday.
