North Duplin ousted by Union

CLINTON -- North Duplin surrendered 35 points in the second half and compiled just 179 yards of offense in a 41-6, non-conference loss at Union.
Taderick Gadberry scored the Rebels' lone touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Devin Oliver paced North Duplin's offense with 51 yards rushing on 12 carries.
The Rebels trailed 6-0 at halftime before the Spartans' offense erupted in the second half.
The Rebels (0-3 overall) play host to Hobbton on Friday night.
