Mr. Thadis Coley Sr., 87, 700 Luther Drive, Goldsboro, passed Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family.
The celebration of his life will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at noon at Victory Faith Center, 805 S. U.S. 13, Goldsboro, N.C. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 U.S. 117 South, Dudley, N.C.
There will be a viewing held Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, from 2 to 5 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. He will lie in state Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Wave of Glory Faith Ministries, 915 McDaniels St., Goldsboro, N.C.
He was born May 11, 1931, in Wayne County, N.C., to Johnny and Mable Ham Coley.
He is survived by his children, Gwendolyn C. Aultman (Jeffrey) of Dudley, Annie Mae Stokes (Ronnie) of Goldsboro, Debbie Shyrese Bowden (James) of Elm City, Thadis Coley II of Goldsboro, Gladys C. Branch (Gerald) of ROcky Mount and Wanda Corbin Robinson of Nashville, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services of compassionate and distinguished class entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.
