Carl Patrick Henry LeRoy, 17, Seven Springs, passed away suddenly Saturday.
Pat was born Dec. 14, 2000, in Wayne County to Patrick Shannon LeRoy, Seven Springs, and the late Danyel Valerie Cook.
He will always be remembered for his love of basketball and reptiles.
Those of us who knew Pat weep at our loss, laugh with our remembrances and reflect deeply on how much he meant to us.
A service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with his father presiding.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of his grandmother, 102 Quail Drive, Goldsboro.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters, Shannon Nicole LeRoy and Lucinda Shawnne’ LeRoy; brother, Dallas Austin; grandmother, Patricia Jouett LeRoy; and aunts, Lucinda LeRoy Glaug, Doricia LeRoy Benton and husband, Ben, and Isabel LeRoy.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society, 930B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834.
