Matt Hooks, Fremont died Wednesday at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.

Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Fremont.

He was born May 11, 1955, in Wayne County to Matthew and Ruth Hooks.
