James R. Wooten Sr., 71, 714 Pou St., died Monday, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 22, 1946, in Greenville, Tenn., to James and Margaret Early Wooten.
He is survived by five children.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation Saturday one hour prior at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by the Haskins Funeral Home.
