Lisimba Jelani Grant, 39, 210 Banks Ave., died Saturday at Wayne UNC Healthcare.
Funeral will be Friday at noon at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church Inc, with pastor Joseph Williams officiating. Burial will be in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors by the United States Army.
Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are by McIntyre Funeral Home.
