Sofia Garcia Vega, 75, died Saturday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mexico.
She was born in Mexico April 19, 1943, to the late Jose Garcia Diaz and Maria Encarnacion Ponce. She was married to Samuel Vega Avila.
She is survived by seven children.
Visitation will follow the service.
