Wallace M. "Spoogy" Martin Sr., 80, 8080 Hafner Court, University City, formerly of Wayne County, died March 22 at The Quarters at Des Peres Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral will be Sunday at noon in Mount Zion Seventh-Day Adventist Church of LaGrange, with pastor Albert L. Dyson officiating. Interment will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He was born in Wayne County Jan. 17, 1938, to the late Jesse Martin Sr. and Ida Jackson-Martin.
Visitation will be Sunday from 11 to 11:50 a.m. in Mount Zion Seventh-Day Adventist Church of LaGrange.
Sunday the family will assemble at Britt Funeral Home at 10 a.m. for the funeral procession.
