JUDY ANN WESTBROOK
July 8, 1944-March 11, 2018
Judy Ann Westbrook, 73, went home to be with the Lord Sunday March 11, 2018.
Judy was born July 8, 1944, the daughter of William Chester Nichols and Mary Virginia Winders Nichols. She was an only child.
She was born and raised in Wayne County.
Judy played hard, and she loved hard.
If she called you friend, you were a friend for life.
She worked for many years at Country Pine Assisted Living.
She volunteered for some time at a homeless shelter, and delivered Meals on Wheels to shut-ins.
She had four children whom she loved the best way she knew how. Judy really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Judy was proceeded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children, Gary Holmes of Dudley, Paul (Merita) Holmes of Pikeville, Selena Grim of Goldsboro and Kimberly (Juan) DeLaCruz of Terrell, Texas.
She has 10 grandchildren, Michael Joseph, Angelena, Michael Anthony, Christopher, Harley, Joshua, Jesse, Adam, Bethany and Celena.
She has six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were provided by Seymour Funeral Home.
A memorial service was held March 19 at Cocker Memorial Church.
The family wishes to thank the Brian Center and those who loved and helped Judy in her last days.
