Ellis Ray "Ray Ray" Tripp, 38, 1301 Goldsboro St., New Bern, died Dec. 22 at UNC Health Care of Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church of New Bern.
Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
