David Zachary Heeren, 25, Kenly, died Tuesday at his residence.
Funeral will be Saturday at 7 p.m. at Harvest Fellowship Church, 126 W. Walnut St., Goldsboro. Committal will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Pete Norris will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Harvest Fellowship Church and other times at the residence of Benny and Ann Rice, 504 Joe Morris Road, Kenly.
Surviving are his mother, Emily Rice Heeren of Kenly; his father, Mark David Heeren of Stafford, Va.; brothers, Sean Heeren, Matthew Heeren and Benjamin Heeren all of the home; his maternal grandparents, Benny and Ann Felker Rice of Kenly; his paternal grandparents, Vern and Carole Crenshaw Heeren of Bend, Ore.; and uncles and aunts, Michael Rice (Tara) of Sherwood, Ark., Chris Heeren (Heather) of Lincoln, Calif., and Scott Heeren (Aimee) of San Jose, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made sent to Bridge of Hope Inc., P.O. Box 881, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530. Checks can be earmarked "to Celebrate Recovery."
Arrangements are with Evergreen Funeral Home.
