Robert Lee Edwards, 64, 712 Stronach Ave., died Tuesday at Rex Hospital of Raleigh.
Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, with the Rev. Mark Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He was born in Wayne County to Irene Edmundson Edwards Davis and Robert Anthony Edwards.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
