Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home.
He was born Dec. 8, 1956, in Duplin County to James Newkirk and Lenora Gillespie.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home.
