The Rev. Matthew Forte Jr., 86, 1668 U.S. 13 South, died Saturday at Sutton Retirement Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at White Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born May 17, 1931, in Wayne County to Matthew Sr. and Dorcas Coley Forte.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
