Shelton, 81, Dudley resident, passed away at home Wednes- day morning, Nov. 22, 2017.
Services will be Sunday, Nov. 26, at 3 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Jeff Daughtry, with burial following at Price-Wig- gins Cemetery, Scott’s Store community.
Visitation will be at the funeral home during the hour before the service, and at other times, the family will receive at the home of George “Poly” Taylor, Tram Road, Mount Olive.
Jean is survived by a daughter, Gail Davis Hargrove of Dudley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald M. and Sheila Davis of Dudley and Don W. and Mar- sha Davis of Santan Valley, Ariz.; two sisters, Carlene Calhoun of Ariz., and Grace Bateman of Fla.; five broth- ers, George Taylor and Lavelle Taylor both of Mount Olive, Ronnie Taylor of Clin- ton, Virgil Taylor of Kenans- ville and Chestley Taylor of Calypso; a special friend of the family, Ray Martin of Goldsboro; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter McCullen and Annie Pearl Wig- gins Taylor; two brothers, Lawrence McCullen and Jasper Taylor Jr.; and three sisters, Ann Reddish, Marie McCullen and Yvonne Brogden.
