Dolores Minshew Sutton, 89, resident of 207 East Station Street in Mount Olive, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 4, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A floating remembrance visitation will be at the home of Gail Sutton-Hinson, 2221 Emmaus Church Road, Dudley, on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. No visitation will be at the Sutton residence in Mount Olive; however flowers are welcome and if a gift of the heart is desired, a contribution to the charity of one's choice will be graciously appreciated.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by two sons, Larry Sutton and wife, Dawn, of Raleigh, and Neal Sutton of the home; two daughters, Gail Sutton-Hinson of Dudley, and Penny Sutton Pike of Garner; and a special niece, Eileen Thompson of Long Island, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis S. Sutton; a son, Alan Wayne Sutton; her parents, Frank and Mary Owens Minshew; and a son-in-law, Ralph "Junior" Hinson.
