Gene A. Ford Sr., 64, 1707 S. John St., Apt D, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born Aug. 8, 1953, in Wayne County to Roy and Lillie Reid Ford Jr.
He is survived by his fianceé, Patricia D. Mitchell, and three children.
Visitation will be held Saturday at 6 to 8 p.m. in James T Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home, with family present to receive friends.
In keeping with his wishes, no formal services will be held.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
