Funeral service for Deacon Charlie Joyner, 89, Clinton, Md., will be held Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Greater Saint John Cathedral, 114 Old Marlboro Pike, Upper Marlboro, Md., 20772.
Deacon Charlie Joyner is survived by his wife, Laura W. Joyner; four children; two brothers, Cullen (Marion) Joyner of Goldsboro, N.C., and Frank Joyner of Pikeville, N.C.; and two sisters, Dollie (Sylvanus) Best of Raleigh, N.C., and Ruby Jackson of Baltimore, Md.
